Clean Water 15
Registration will close at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4
Whether you have never been on the river before or are an experienced paddler, you will enjoy this opportunity to canoe or kayak down the Missouri River. Floaters will start at Franklin Island Access in Boonville, MO and end at River Fest at Katfish Katy's, a total of 15 river miles. A shuttle service will be provided and safety boats will be in the water. Awards will be given to the first 3 finishers in each division, but that doesn’t mean you have to rush- sit back and enjoy the river!
Start: 10:30 a.m. at Franklin Island Access,
River Mile 195- Boonville, MO
Finish: (1.5-6.5 hrs. later ) Katfish Katy’s Campground, River Mile 180- Columbia, MO
Divisions: Men’s Tandem, Women’s Tandem, Mixed Tandem, Men’s Solo, Women’s Solo, Adult/Youth, Youth Tandem, Youth Solo
*Participants are considered “youth” if they are under the age of 15 on race day.
Minimum Pledge: Solo- $40.00 Tandem- $70.00
While paddlers
are required to come up with the minimum pledge amount, you are encouraged to raise as much as you can to help support the Missouri
River Communities Network’s mission to enhance stewardship of the Missouri River. Family, friends and co-workers can
pledge for you online through the Paddlers and Pledging link. In addition, prizes will be given to the top pledger (money
raised above their designated minimum amount). Racers must meet their minimum pledge goal by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4.
* There will be an optional shuttle service provided to paddlers of the Clean Water 15. If you choose to use the service, you will be asked to drop your boat off at Franklin Island before driving back to Katfish Katy’s (approximately 30 minute drive). You will be able to leave your car parked at Katfish Katy’s and hop on a shuttle to take you back to Franklin Island for registration and the start of the Clean Water 15. The ONE-AND-ONLY shuttle will leave Katfish Katy's at 9:15 am. There will be a boat attendant to safeguard the boats.
Clean Water 50
Registration will close at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4
Canoe
and kayak racers will challenge themselves on a 46.5 mile river race starting at Stump Island Access in Glasgow, MO and ending at
River Fest. This stretch of the river will take you through Lisbon Bottoms- the most respected and sometimes feared part of
the river by racers in the Missouri River 340 who usually tackle it at night. Awards will be given to the first 3 finishers
in each division- so get your paddle on!
Start: 8:00 a.m. at Stump Island Access, River Mile 226.5- Glasgow,
MO
Finish: (4-9 hrs. later) Katfish Katy’s Campground, River Mile 180- Columbia, MO
Divisions: Men’s Tandem, Women’s Tandem, Mixed Tandem, Men’s Solo, Women’s Solo, Adult/Youth, Youth Tandem, Youth Solo

*At this time, we do not plan to offer a shuttle service for the Clean Water 50 due to time restraints. If you are in need of this service, please contact us and we will try to arrange something.
