Member Duties: The AmeriCorps members do a variety of activities including litter pickups, water quality monitoring, educational outreach,
tree planting, storm drain stenciling, promotion of rain gardens and rain barrels, invasive species removal, and much more.

Service Description: The Missouri Clean Water
AmeriCorps Program will place AmeriCorps Members in communities throughout the state to work with local sponsoring watershed non-profit
organizations in providing support, outreach, education, training, and mentoring to area citizens.
The program empowers local citizens
to do projects that work to improve and protect Missouri streams and rivers. Activities include, but are not limited to: litter pickups,
water quality monitoring, educational projects, invasive species removal, tree plantings, storm drain stenciling, and the promotion
and constructing of rain gardens and rain barrels.
