Rollin' for the River 2007

On Saturday, June 16, 2007 Missouri River Communities Network invites you and your family to spend a day on the Missouri River.

Participants can either bike on the Katy Trail or canoe/kayak on the Missouri River from Rocheport to Cooper's Landing where MRCN will be holding a fundraiser.  Food, drinks, informational booths and live music will be awaiting your arrival.

Shuttles will be available to take you and your canoe back to Rocheport or, if you wish, you can make it an all-nighter and camp at one of the campgrounds at Cooper's Landing.

Registration

Individual Registration:  $25                          Family Registration:     $50

Due to limited availability, all canoeists must pre-register for this event by June 8th. To pre-register, just give us a call at 573-256-2602.  You do not need to pay until the day of the event.

Participants can register the day of the event in Rocheport, Huntsdale (Katfish Katy's) , or McBaine*.

* McBaine will be available for biker registration only.

We recommend that only advanced canoeists travel from Rocheport to Cooper's landing.

For less advanced canoeists, we recommend starting at Katfish Katy's.

Rocheport to Cooper's Landing is approx. 18 miles.

Huntsdale (Katfish Katy's) to Cooper's Landing is approx. 10 miles.

McBaine to Cooper's Landing is approx. 7 miles.

Hydration Stations will provide restrooms and beverages for participants on bikes or in boats at all registration locations.  An additional Hydration station will be available for boats only in Lupus.
